You HAVE TO TRY this trendy twist on dry yogurt!
✨Recipe:
Ingredients:
• cottage cheese
• sourdough bread
• marinara sauce
• olive oil
• salt and pepper, to taste
• parmesan cheese, shredded
• fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Directions:
1. Unfold a cheesecloth and place the cottage cheese in the center. Fold the cheesecloth over the cottage cheese and twist the ends to secure.
2. Line a bowl with several layers of paper towels and place the wrapped cottage cheese inside. Cover the cheesecloth with additional paper towels to fully wrap it.
3. Refrigerate the wrapped cottage cheese for 24 hours, replacing the paper towels after 12 hours if they become soaked.
4. After 24 hours, unwrap the cottage cheese and transfer it to a bowl.
5. Toast the sourdough bread until lightly golden. Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over the toast, then spread the dry cottage cheese and marinara sauce alternately on top.
6. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese. Place the toast in an air fryer and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
