Awesome vandacious species with fragrant blooms... It seems to be easy to bloom without much of sun or light supplement...

Very beautiful. You have done wonders in helping to grow the orchid and save it from the rot. Love the color of the blooms.

The blooms are adorable, I like the combination of colours. It's a great plant considering all it had to endure and you did a wonderful job to recover it from rotting!!!!

Hi Orchideya! You have done such a wonderful job caring for this plant. Saving it from black rot is impressive! I love it’s compact size and those very interesting and very pretty blooms. The colors are lovely! Hopefully your other one will get the hint!

It must be the season for Aerides to produce their flower inflorescence. I have Aerides falcata and like yours it is highly fragrant, however, mine has only just started to produce a spike, so I will have a long wait. Your blooms are beautiful and thank you for sharing.

OK so you liked that citrus description Haha. I'm sure the fragrance is 1000Xs more elegant to the nose. It is probably the most popular aerides for color/fragrance. Considering the crazy journey it took to get to your house, the struggles it went through to survive, to root, it is an amazing accomplishment to see it bloom. AND, it is not a previously bloomed plant, which makes it such an amazing plant!
I was told that these require more heat than light to bloom. I guess all it needs is a bit of TLC, and voila, she bloomed. These can apparently bloom 2Xs a summer if they are happy.
Congrats, this is nothing short of a miracle when you think back a year ago. You can be proud of this one.
