I thought the grandson was random and his rapping scenes were unnecessary. Other than that, there's some great scares. The diaper scene was just weird, but definitely an M. Night Shyamalan type of thing to do

even after with such strong subject and story the screenplay lacked, jump-scare can only haunt newbees, or maybe 1-2 may work but later it become pretty obvious yet dramatic instead scary. Could have been made better!!

Ok so here's the story for the people who don't know it:
The 2 kids went to their grandparents house to stay for 3-4 days (I think) and when they were calling their mom they were panicking telling their mom to come pick them up but the mom was confused and said that she couldn't come pick them up since it would be a 2 hour drive the kids were stressing and told their mom that they (their grandparents) were acting strange and in the night they would wake up and that they saw their grandma holding a knife at the middle of the night and they're gradpa putting a gun in his mouth the mom asked where they were (the grandparents) and the kids showed them that them that they were outside the mom said she would arrive in a few hours and pick them up they shut the laptop and later at night their mom still hadn't come to pick them up the kids were worried and their grandparents asked them if they wanted to play a boarding game since that was they were staying (the kids) so the girl excuse herself to the bathroom and the boy was trying to distract their grandparents so that the girl could call 911, a little while later they went to sleep (I think) and the girl went down to the basement to se le if there was anything she was searching and than saw their grandpa and saw a lot of blood she realized that the people who were upstairs (grandparents) killed their grandpa the girl ran to go hide bcs she heard noises but than her other "grandpa" came holding a knife and he grabbed the girl by her neck and was trying to kill he the girl luckily ran and went running upstairs hiding in the dark but the "grandpa" caught her she also escaped him again she ran to the. Living room and saw that the "grandma" was knocked out and saw her brother and they both knocke out their "grandpa" than they heard sirens and went rushing outside where they saw the police and their mother they started crying in relief that they survived. (Correct me if I'm wrong) + bad spelling

I saw that when I was 12.. Halloween with 8 other girls down in the basement in the dark, 10pm.. we screamed a bit there.. the parents asked us if we were okay afterwards cuz they heard the screaming and while Becca was in that room everyone were like “do it do it!” Horrifyingly scary movie 10/10 totally recommend
