Then why not start with very small cat then work towards gigantic cats?

1. Kitten
2. Munchkin
3. Normal cat
4. Crazy cat
5. Fat Garfield
6. Ocelot
7. Cheetah
8. Jaguar
9. Lion
10. Tiger
And for additional immunity:

11. Giraffe

I have owned cats for the last twenty years, but I was originally mildly allergic to cats. I lived with taking antihistamines for a year to control my allergy (with my GP's guidance). After a year of suffering cat allergy, it disappeared. I guess my body got used to my cats. I don't get any allergic reactions now.

I remember walking into my GP's office and saying to her, "Please don't tell me to get rid of my cat, that isn't going to happen!" I

I want a cat so much but within seconds of petting one, my eyes swell and I develop pin wheel hives all over my face and neck. And my lips have swollen before. Not to mention the watering eyes, cough, wheezing, and sneezing. 😞

That’s ridiculous. If you are allergic to cats and live with one, you will eventually stop being allergic to that specific cat. It’ll be hell for like 4 months straight though…

Antihistamine regularly, dropout test for nonmedicated state of IgA route, AH back if not symptomless enough, fast kickin and washout

I've been severely allergic to cats since birth but in my late twenties when my allergies were at their lowest I adopted a cat I had a few symptoms for a while and then I adopted another cat and another cat. eventually I just stop having symptoms other than if I got scratched or a hair in my eye. Now I have four cats inside four cats outside and I don't have any symptoms even though testing will show that I have severe allergies to them still.

I'm pretty sure something similar happened to me while taking Zyrtec and living with cats in the early 00s. I lived with them about 5 months then moved away and for a couple years after that I could be around cats without it bothering me even though I had stopped taking the medication

I live with a cat and I’m allergic to her but we’re best friends. I do get itchy sometimes but it mostly happens if she scratches or if I pet her and touch my face at all. Other than that we’re inseparable, she loves me and I love her 🥺💗 I do have a question though. Because I’m living with her will my allergy grow worse?

But it's not dander per se...it's the feld1 protein.

For me, I got a blood test for inhailed allergies or something.
Apperantly, im 100% allergic to cats and at that point in time when I took the blood test, I had 4 cats.
The doctor was very concerned but i guess my body had made itself semi desensitized so I don't react like with anaphylaxis.
I mainly get stuffy nose, watery eyes, sneezy and if i get scratched, it just get alightly inflamed at the scratched area and itchy hot but thats about it.
And that usually when I deal with their loose fur, or anything grooming.
I also get like this when I deal with dust when im cleaning, only i probably react worse to that than the cats.

I’ve had cats before, but I got a new cat and all of a sudden it feels like I’ve developed sn allergy to this cat. To be fair I also moved out right around when I got the cat so idk if it’s from the cat or maybe something in my new room. Because I don’t have the feeling of shortness of breath outside of my bedroom.

please someone answer!
So i’ve been wanting a cat REALLY BADLY, but my dad is severely allergic. Like, he cannot breath well. Does this work for this type of severe allergies too?

Is a blood test for allergies better than a skin test when it comes to "cat allergies".

I dont have any nasal symptoms but I get hives, is it due to saliva or dander?
