You might have added that Centralia has such a low population because there is a fire raging in the coal mines under the town; it was burning for a couple of decades until a couple of near misses - carbon monoxide in the cellars, a kid almost falling into a hole over red hot coal, etc, led to a massive buy out and relocation.
