I’m officially in my statement necklace phase. 😅😂. When you hit a certain age, a black turtleneck can be very harsh. Don't get me wrong, I'll work that lewk as long as I possibly can, BUT there is something to be said about adding a punchy pop to the punim (yiddish for face ). Strategically placing colors that suit you next to your face will allow you to wear everything and look fabulous doing so.

Find your favorites neck adornment, pair them with a funky colored shoe that ties the whole look together, and use your accessories as bookends. It's a super simple way to look very put together. 🙌💋❤️

Nice to see recommendations for “statement” necklaces. I have adult children who nag me because I “look like I’m wearing a wreath” or “small necklaces are in fashion. I love my big necklaces.

You are 100% correct especially about necklaces that set up high if they are bold (of course, those are my favorite!). I also feel that way about children and their shoes. If you have good shoes and a good coat, you can put whatever else you want on your child.

Omg ! My mom absolutely loves her chunky big beads necklaces, She has them in many stones.... Lapis, Rose quartz, malachite. She recently got black onyx & coral made.
