Despite how horrible that sequel was, they owe Ellie's character a decent ending and not how they left her character at the end of TLOU2 - She was left with nothing in the most nihilistic ending possible. At the very least, let her have a somewhat optimistic ending. They need to develop that final chapter and a proper closure to the story.

I struggle with part 2 because its a beautiful game and plays awesome but the story is a complete disaster.
