Congratulations mate… first ride is always a stressy afair.. I found out the very hard way as my Walker rep SRAD first run was in the fast group at Malory. The photo shoot for PS magazine happened quicker than we planned, so it was all a bit rushed. I managed half a lap before highsiding to the moon and doing a LOT of damage to 18 months work… lucky we did the pics before the launching session. Stomach still sinks when I think about it now. That’s a rare bird that CTX1300 that pulled up at the pub as well…

Very nice Chops, glad you finally got it completed. The niggles are bound to be minor ones and easy fixes. Anyway, it's Italian, what did you expect! (coming from a fellow Italian bike owner though mine starts with the letter A....)

What torque setting did you use for the nuts holding the exhaust headers to the heads? I've got my termis to reattach and it isn't listed anywhere.

Last time I used my hand to test if the front brakes were binding I left a millimetre of skin on them! 😬

Very nice, mines got a balanced crank as well - it was worth the extra 150 quid to have it done...Oh forgot to ask - do you still have the other adjustable rear tie bar? Also i recommend using the rear master from the RSV4 as the reservoir is built in and its a brembo. Much tidier. Exhausr: Must confess ive never liked the single exit on one side...the hyper is one of the rare bikes that (from personal preference) - lends itself to a twin exit...if you can find them now an SC project 2-2 system looks good - wot ive got...just a thought. Placing my bets....loose battery terminals...?
