Innovators West Tech Series - Crankshaft Pinning Kits

This video goes over pinning your damper to a stock crankshaft that has no crankshaft key.

Any special drill bits needed? I snapped the one with the kit, then a second one and am currently trying to use a 3 blade style, but it may have dulled out and I'm not making headway.
The three blades are less likely to snag and break, but maybe they dull quicker.
