Gerald still gets destroyed by yetis and lava elementals. It's not a fair fight if gerald could be taken out to regenerate. At level 10, he should have 580 health and 80% armour rating on normal and veteran difficulty. 696 on casual. That means he would have an effective health of 2900 on normal/veteran or 3480 on casual. He may be very durable, but he gets absolutely bodied by bosses that are not Myconid or Lord blackburn, and also yetis, lava elementals, troll breakers, and forest trolls.
