Paoli Vitali, MD is a board-certified neurologist and neuropsychologist and an Assistant Professor at McGill University’s Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a neurologist at the McGill University Research Centre for Studies in Aging and at the CIUSSS Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal. His research focuses on atypical dementia patients who present with language disorders (Primary Progressive Aphasia).

Dr. Vitali will speak about language difficulties in normal aging and in dementia, explaining how they differ and why they occur. He will also discuss the potential impact of current research on treatment options. This episode of McGill Cares will also be available in French.
