Hunting for a striker or defender should not be top priority really. It has to be a ballplaying cm. Chelsea has lacked that type of player ever since fabregas left. Nowdays chelsea are forced to rely on the wingers to create all the chances because there is no one in midfield with good enough technical ablity that can make assist and score goals or be some kind of threat from cm.

Defense is solid with current roster and players on loan. We need midfielders that can progress the ball AND offer some goals/assists in the final third. Really missing prime fitness RLC. If we buy we need Kessie, SMS type players
