I returned the Razer Blackwidow v4 Pro... TWICE (and here is why)

Oh boy Razer...

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A KEYBOARD PROFESSIONAL/ENTHUSIAST! THIS IS MY PURE OPINION!

A couple things to add onto the video:

- I mention that the build quality of the keyboard is nice (which is true), however the PRODUCTION quality of this keyboard is really poor, hence why I returned this keyboard twice

- I forgot to tell you guys why I had returned the Blackwidow v4 Pro the first time (in the video, this was the second one I had because I replaced the first one). The first time I had returned the keyboard was because the left shift key was stuck in place when I had first opened it...

- Another con to this keyboard is the ABS keycaps (they will get shinier faster over time). It would have been nicer if Razer included the PBT keycaps that they have for their Huntsman keyboard line, especially because this is expensive at $230 without including tax

Hey! I just found your review while I'm researching. I have this exact same keyboard, and I've seen other people post regarding double-typing/clicking. It's happened a couple of times writing this comment. I was wondering if you experienced it? For example: pressing 'e' once but getting 'ee'.

This keyboard is alright, just the only thing bringing it down is it's obscene price and low build quality (for what you paid). I would suggest skipping this keyboard and instead building your own if you can be bothered or buying an EPOMAKER EK68 or Keychron Q1/V1 for a smaller keyboard, however, if you want a full size keyboard then the HyperX alloy series is quite good. All of my suggestions (baring in mind, i'm not a keyboard wizard) offer much more premium switches that ARE hotswappable and provide a much better typing and gaming experience over the razer keyboard.

RAZER IS DONE and this trash is a disgrace to all blackwidows
1st razer synapse 3 is literally non functional as more advanced tasks and macros choke/lag/overlap/crash
2nd green switches are springy and utter garbage
3rd leds are also trash as they are very dull and dissolved - compared to older good blackwidows or deathadder mice
(new keyboard is darker at 100% light than mice at 66% XD)
4th switches might die on you in a span of 3-6 months, happened to me and more on a reddit thread: Razer Blackwidow V4 Pro Keyboard Issues
5th if you happen to press spacebar on the edge instead of pressing in a center then it doesnt register a keypress - razer released a malfunctioning compromised design
6th (personal) float key is disgusting
7th their transparent switch shells look cheap looked from a profile while your system is off

razer is pure dogwater right now and id rather use a 3$ keyboard or buy a ton of blackwidows 2016 as they last 10 years each with little maintenance.
