- Of the 66 people in a certain auditorium, at most 6 people have their birthdays in any one given month. Does at least one person in the auditorium have a birthday in January?
- Jack wants to use a circular rug on his rectangular office floor to cover two small circular stains, each less than π/100 square feet in area and each more than 3 feet from the nearest wall. Can the rug be placed to cover both stains?
- Michael arranged all his books in a bookcase with 10 books on each shelf and no books left over. After Michael acquired 10 additional books, he arranged all his books in a new bookcase with 12 books on each shelf and no books left over. How many books did Michael have before he acquired the 10 additional books?
- If the positive integer n is added to each of the integers 69, 94, and 121, what is the value of n?
- A craftsperson made 126 ornaments and put them all into boxes. If each box contained either 6 ornaments or 24 ornaments, how many of the boxes contained 24 ornaments?
- If r and s are positive integers, is r/s an integer?
