Passion⎮Miraculous Ladybug Season 5 Review

And we're back after a couple of days off to have a little bit of a break from things. But we come back with a bang, taking a look at Passion, one of the latest episodes of Miraculous Ladybug season five to drop. This was a fun episode and there is more in the tank after this so stay tuned.

I'm glad Tikki's no longer having faith that Marinette can find love. It's decent character development.

Honestly Adrien not being able to recognize that Marinette is uncomfortable makes sense to me sense Marinette acts like that to him all the time.

Honestly, despite what people think, i love the designs of Mister Bug and Lady Noire, especially the latter

I think Astruc mentioned that the reason Ladybug's costume looks so basic while the rest of the Ladybug users don't is because she wasn't ready to be a superhero when she said "Spots on" so that's what she became and it stuck.

I'd like to imagine if she was properly ready to go and confident, she'd be using her lucky charm outfit from the get-go. But that's more of a retcon than anything

The Nathalie and Adrien bonding in this episode made me love it. It was also great seeing Mister Bug and Lady Noire again!

I don’t see Adrien’s love for Marinette as too crazy a switch up. In my mind, he’s always had feelings for her without realizing it. Everytime he finds out she’s Ladybug it’s like Christmas morning for him. They’re both pretty much the same in terms of character, as in Marinette’s personality doesn’t have any major changes when she’s Ladybug. Also, once he realized his feelings it wasn’t just two weeks for his feelings to grow, as he has a year’s worth of memories of all their moments together and all the ways she showed herself to be someone who’s always there for him. While the difference between Adrien and Cat Noir made it hard for Marinette and Kagami to accept the side of himself that Adrien doesn’t often show.

I feel like Gabe knows that he will eventually die. And is trying to spend as much time as he can with Adrien to make up for everything if he fails in obtaining the miraculous in time.

Natalie: practically giving Gabe death glares, snapping at him, and she and Gabe are giving “divorced parents” vibes

Passion IMO is the best episode of Season 5:

Natalie was awesome, and continues being the Queen of Season 5
Safari was a badass, both in appearance and performance
The writers actually let Cat Noir/Mister Bug shine, which is such a relief
Adrien is getting better control over his love for Marinette, even if it still is BS
Actually info on Emilie in the past that I want more of.

What can I say? Ignoring Lady Noire’s flirting, this episode is great. I approve

Hahaha I’m pretty sure in the beginning Tikki was tryna help Marinette tell Adrien how she feels but as time went on she’s just sitting back and rolling her eyes😭 because let’s be honest if you were forced to listen to a teenage girl come up with stupid plans to get with her crush from school and get ABSOLUTELY nowhere and self sabotage themselves for months you’d get annoyed quickly too and watch the train slowly crash.

If Monarch ever decides to give his next akumatization the power of second chance, it’s over. I honestly don’t understand why he hasn’t done that yet. Plus, when ladybug used to use it, they always succeeded.

I just died of cuteness when Adrien and Nathalie hugged at the end of the episode. That was so wholesome.

Personally, I think Adrien’s feelings for Marinette have always been there but he’s never identified them as romantic feelings (cuz let’s be honest, Marinette isn’t that clear about her intentions either 💀).

Especially if you take into consideration his interactions with her as Cat Noir. They’ve had pretty adorable platonic interactions as MariChat!

I quit watching MLB, but this video's thumbnail caught my attention. Because as much as I dislike Marinette's bad behavior in this series and Thomas Astruc's treatment of others, Adrien will always hold a special place in my heart. He's such a sweetie❤

I love the switched miraculous dynamic, including Marinette acting like Cn and visa versa. it is so funny.

I just notice how the lucky charm loves mister bug more than ladybug I mean he ask for a mirror he gets a mirror he ask for a thing that will give him an excuse to go to his house he get the perfect thing for it

Honestly it hits harder seeing Marinette fall for Chat Noir, because she's seeing him in a heroic light and appreciating him for all he does. But it does feel a bit weird that she would jump on the "this is a good idea" train so quickly.
