پھر بدل دے گلشن و گلزار سے یہ دشتِ خار

زور سے جھٹکے اگر کھاوے زمیں کچھ غم نہیں

پر کسی ڈھب سے تزلزل سے ہومِلّت رستگار

دین و تقویٰ گم ہو ا جاتا ہے یارب رحم کر

بے بسی سے ہم پڑے ہیں ۔کیا کریں ۔ کیا اِختیار

میرے آنسو اس غم دلسوز سے رُکتے نہیں

دیں کا گھر ویراں ہے اور دنیا کے ہیں عالی مَنار
