The pigs at Marshall's Piggy Paradise take character to a whole new level. Their grunting, snorting and wallowing, signs that they are happy and content, combine with their wonderful personalities to make them truly lovable. Meet some of our residents and see for yourself.

Recently I had a chance to snuggle a tiny potbellied pig, four days old. She absolutely loved being held and snuck under my jacket for the warmth and I assume my heart beat. I wish I could have taken her home.

I wish I lived closer to any of the Best Friends locations! Everything you folks do is so wonderful to all these animals in need!

I first learned about this sanctuary was back when Best Friends took in all those Michael Vick fighting dogs. From that moment, I have done my best to make a donation, make a purchase from your "store", and or encourage others to do so at the very least once a year...more if I can!!

I have been doing animal rescue for over 30 years and have wanted with my best friend, come visit and work with all of you to care for all the animals you have rescued and found loving homes for. And the ones that are still waiting for one, you care for them with so much love and compassion. I live in CT and know a few people that have come to work with you and have come back home with a “new” member of the family.
Sorry to say the trip my friend had planned isn’t going to happen. My friend passed from a long battle with cancer and I’m not able to get around very well because of Parkinson’s, but I’m trying to support you with donations. I wish we didn’t procrastinate, but just so you know, we both have only adopted animals and if it wasn’t for our husbands we would have adopted many more at the same time. My husband tells everyone if something happened to him, I would have my own shelter right on our property which also be a “no kill”.
Keep up the good work and I’m going to keep up the donations. I still hope to make my Bucket List dream to visit you and with my husband; I’m an optimist and refuse to stop trying to help all the animals in need. We have to be their voice and fight for all of them.

Been there and loved the whole place, but the pigs and the horses were the best part. Loved feeding the horses and scratching the pigs. They loved it too. Awesome place to stay on the grounds.
