So, I got a master in social work. I became a truck driver because I tried for a year to get a job in the field, but I have no experience. Truck industry they’ll teach you, train you and give you a job in less than a month. I got a job as a social worker trainee in 2020, but $2, 000 a month wasn’t enough to pay rent and other bills. How in the world can one start in the field without losing their mind because of financial struggles.? In the end I kind of regret getting my degree. 😢

Is it better to do your bachelors in human services and masters and social work or to do social work in bachelors and masters as well?

Do you have any tips for me? I know a Masters is required for this field, did you go straight to a Masters program after obtaining your undergrad?
