As an Australian, Venmo is confusing because most of our banks provide payment functionality between people!

I remember long ago (before the iPhone 3) when early PDA’s devices with GPS gave horrible directions in Hawaii. Plagued with horrible processors that didn’t even try to perform while driving with any kind of light, heat and wacky roadways attached to highways with names such as “The LikeLike Highway” pronounced locally
{ Lee Keh Lee Keh } or Waimea on the island of Oahu or Waimea on the Big Island and your TomTom is frozen with a hourglass ⌛️ cuz its trying to process a drivable route from Oahu to an off road imaginary path on the sea floor… 😅
And I know what you’re thinking, just reboot… yeah No … so to avoid any inconvenience a feature ( not a bug ) of detecting a reboot fault and without prompts of re-engaging your last active route.

You'd better start shopping for Christmas now because it will be here before you know it.

Just wait until Scientology creates an app for the iPhone so you can conquer those Thetans at home .
Though I'm guessing the in app purchases are going to be quite expensive. 🤣

Are we allowed to call Apple Vision users "Glassholes" yet?

How long into the future until the AI runs GPS maps, and if it says there is a road/bridge somewhere it can't be disputed?

It eventually just gets so bad the local governments must capitulate, and build said road or bridge to prevent further issues.

$100 100GB cards would be nice, but we're still at $100 for 10GB copper cards.

you can kit out an adlink system with 128 cores, 288GB ddr5, x4 2TB gen4x4, and 2 nvidia 4090s... all for about 9000$ (with actual driver support, too!)

and it comes with a 280mm radiator...

Re 18:22. It's not US or Japan. USSR did this in 80s, though they did not beam down solar power, but beamed power up first. I think it was 100kW? Finding sources is difficult, since google wants to only show US, and it's probable I'll need to go to relevant library anyway.

15:45 $100 100GbE cards won’t happen for another quarter-century.
I’ve been whining about the price of 10-Gig NICs in Level1Techs youtube comment sections since Wendell’s 2016 video on Netgear’s first consumer 10-gig switch.
