The knife at the end is not a defect. Not all pocket knives have locks.

It's called a slip joint folder. There's a spring that helps hold it open, and closed. A Swiss Army knife is a very well known example.

If it had no spring, it would be what's called a friction folder. They're kind of rare, but some companies still make them.

That's my way of returning the favor. Lol Thanks for the education you provide. I have an engraver I actually forgot all about. Poor thing was never used because ei had a health issue about 3 days after I got it. I wasn't able to use it for a while, so it got put away.

Your channel was recommended today, and it reminded me about the engraver. So hopefully I'll be able to afford Lightburn again soon so I can use it. I had purchased a copy when I ordered the laser, and never got to use it. It's expired now.

Loved this video. I'm curious after watching you engrave some very small things how you go about lining up your design with the item ti be engraved? Is it only possible with a camera set up and if not, what would be the method? I know you can set up a jig once you've determined the correct placement and then just send it over and over, but how do you go about finding the right placement?

I use Temu a lot. I made an order for 70 bottle openers like you displayed with the magnets. Caution: Make sure the screws are flush on the back or you will scatch that refrigerator.
