SpaceX prepares to launch astronauts on historic spaceflight

Two NASA astronauts are set to blast off aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, the first privately built spacecraft to launch with a crew. We spoke with Canadian astronauts Jeremy Hansen and Chris Hadfield about the historic launch.

Imagine where in the galaxy humans would be if we valued science and exploration instead of tax cuts for billionaires. This flight is equivalent to the work of NASA in the 1950's and sixties but people are acting like it is novel.

And yeah! There's NO FRICKING car floating in space! Do some research people! I could make a cartoon better than that display!
One question! Why is it we in our own backyard with a telescope see the moon and 'craters', but whilst 'on' the moon the earth is always the same AND they never zoom in! Yeah, you're probably right. They don't have the equipment too heavy I suppose.
