Okay I know this is going to trigger some but yeah I don't need to have light up inside my truck or car BUT going to work great in gun safe using the test battery setup with a on off switch.

Worked fine until I connected the app... now they just flat out don't light up. The little blue light is on, so I know it's working, however not correctly. What do I do?

I had a question about the blinking blue light on the smart hub, does it always stay on ? Because mine always blinks for both the interior and exterior kit .
Also doesn’t it drain the battery if it’s always blinking ?

Connectors are very sensitive... any force will break it so install with care. I broke mine with minimum force while installing (now it can only offer limited colours)

If you guys do an app update, it'd be great to offer a sensitivity function for the music setting. I have a big system and if I turn it up, the lights pretty much flicker but stay on. The hub is mounted behind my dash so basically as far away from the speakers as possible. If theres already some tips people have figured out for this issue, I'm all ears. Thx.

What fuse should I use for the add a fuse. I plan to use a fuse tap for the fuse to the cigarette lighter since it only works if the ignition is at least in accessory mode. My factory cigarette lighter fuse is a 20 amp fuse.

so the hardwire kit works from white stripe to tap, and black wire to ground?

Like, what do you do with the negative wire?

Clearly advertised that the starter kit I just paid 70 odd dollars for is multicoloured I plug it in and follow all the steps in your video to discover mine can only light up blue and have no response to any button I click on the app other than a half a second flicker

just after some help I just bought LED smart hub starter kit and was wondering why I can only change colour on one of the led stripes while one stays blue I have 2 strips only

When using the 12 volt plug do you have to press the on/off button to turn them on and off or can they turn and off with the car? Or do you have to wire them up directly to have them come on and off automatically with the car?

I bought and installed these yesterday. Is it common for the lights to be so loose? Every bump it turns off. I double checked all connections and all is tight except one light.

Nice vid man but do have to say, I hate that kind of install point of the led strips. You don't really HAVE to use the 3m tape method. IMO I think the lights should be mounted further up behind that ledge, as to not see the strip at all but still get tons of light coverage.

I hard wired it to my Tacoma and only the blue lights work, the colors don’t change when use the multi color knob, and the lights don’t turn on when I use it with the 12 volt cigarette adapter, can I get some help?
