ST7735S based LCD Display for Arduino - How to get it working

HEY YOU ABOUT TO POST SOMETHING STUPID:
One of the symptoms is that is causes fluid retention, mostly in the hands, feet/ankles, and face.
It will kill me one day. I'm doing ok right now, but someday...

Tx for the video. Sorry to read about your heart condition. I am suffering myself from the Churg Strauss Syndrome. It may probably kill me one day too, at first I was quite aware of that, but now I don't think about it that much anymore... I am working on a design that needs a lot of RGB leds, and so in the end I ended up here with these displays. So I am going to use these instead. A lot cheaper, much more powerful and a way bigger resolution than to stick/glue together 2mm rgb leds...

That is a pretty sweet little display, I think I’m going to have to order one of those as soon as I have a project for it. Great video Paul.

Now, that's a really nice little display. I'd rather pay a little more than wait a month for my orders too. You can buy almost anything from Amazon now. I'm glad to see you getting back to Arduino stuff also. 😁 Thanks for the video, my friend!

The transistor is probably for controlling the backlight. You can confirm this by checking if there is continuity between the BLK-pin and resistor R2's pad that is closest to the orange flex cable.
Nice looking display. One will find it's way into my workbench at some point.

I've bought a lot from the 'buy display' guy. Faced no problems so far.

The Nano is the same microcontroller as the Uno (ATmega328p) so should run exactly the same on both.
There is a really good library for the ESP32 modules: Bodmer tft_espi

I was trying the graphictest_tft code but couldn't get it working, check the code, check the wiring, everything ok but the display wasn't working, just 2 sec of video then off...
saw the first part of your video, switch to 5v instead of 3.3v e violá! working as a charm.
thanks!

Thanks for an other great Video.
I have a small remark about your sound: it is great when your un the lab, but when you are behind the computer it is over-modulated (distortion) and louder. It would improve your overall video quality if you cloud sort it out. Continue your great work, I'll appriciate it and looking forward for the nex one.

great find, nice display
you might want to adjust the level on the mic at the PC

I have 5 of these exact displays from aliexpress in a breadboard and hooked up to an RPI 4B.
working on the driver because the ones I found always have something that will not work due to sudden lack of an external module etc. So I've grabbed the one with the most GFX commands and I am now modifying it to work solely with RPi.GPIO and spidev modules.
I want to make a mini random runner fruit machine with these displays in portrait mode.
