Cynical, Bitter Reply: They won't. They're at the back of the line for the worst consequences, it will be the old 'frogs don't realize they're in boiling water' thing. And they're so deludedly wrapped up in their masturbation that they still won't get it. You want an example? Look no further than 'liberal tears', or in this case, the similar concept of "OWN THE LIBS". You look at it and you realize...just by expressing the very concept, they 'win'. They immediately believe the libs are 'owned' no matter what happens. The very idea is a opium: if the libs say they're not owned, or don't express any way of being owned, or just ignore them and try and focus on their own lives, or ANYTHING, those sorts just say "Oh I know you're owned' and keep pressing their little masturbation button over their heads I win, tails you lose victory. Really, nothing expresses more the selfish vacuousness of the thought process when you realize that it's not an accomplishment, it's a delusion that succeeds on the basis of having it.

And if we're always owned, then we're never owned.

The most important issue for voters was, by far, the economy. Check the exit polls. Trump is going to make the economy much worse, which freaking sucks. But it makes it very likely that power will shift back to the left, as long as the Dems prioritize fighting for the working class.
