The Quality of Self Discipline

Today we continue our series, The Life of Paul. Pastor Bob will discuss how to grow the essential quality of self-discipline. The memory verse for this week is 1 Corinthians 9:25. It says, “All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.”  This verse encourages us to be dedicated, disciplined and focused on the goal of obtaining the eternal reward, rather than focusing on earthly success and recognition. We hope you are able to join us as we look at how we can learn to become more self-disciplined according to the scriptures and apply it to our own lives.
