Nice! Always surprised me about the MD-90 failing to sell well. Efficient & quiet engines, decent pax capacity w/ comfy 3 + 2 seating and narrower fuselage has less drag than 737/A-320.

SRQ, right down the road from me!
I absolutely love a southern departure, right over the house!
Thanks for the great video!

I love the start up on this thing, and the buzz is nice, everytime I flew on one they would always put us in 39 or 37 only once I sat in the front on these

Great video. I like how you show the startup looking into the engine. Great song at the end, too!!

Even though this was filmed long before the pandemic, SRQ has a Covid-like quietness about it--lots of empty unused gates. Never having flown to Florida, much less SRQ, there is some beautiful views of the coastline. Really neat how after the landing roll, how the captain tucked himself neatly behind that CRJ waiting to cross an active runway--can see a 737's tire smoke on touchdown behind us. Also neat how Ground Control cleared us and 3 other a/c to cross the runway at the same time. In your time flying the -90, do you think it had greater thrust on takeoff as compared to the -88? Could you notice the difference?
