Reporter Facing Criticism for Calling Sarah Huckabee Sanders ‘Slightly Chunky’

A Los Angeles Times columnist issued an apology after he was accused of body shaming White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Pulitzer Prize-winner David Horsey wrote in his November 1st column that Sanders “does not look like the kind of woman” President Trump would choose as his chief spokeswoman. “By comparison, Sanders looks more like a slightly chunky soccer mom who organizes snacks for the kids’ games,” he wrote. Horsey says Sanders' own mother actually reached out to him. #InsideEdition
