Some of the things you explain no one else ever has before. For example, you explained what EI is, then you explained that it is constant because xxxx and THAT is why you moved it over. Sorry for the late reply. If you are referring to the example of the simply supported beam with the point load, then at x=0 theta is NOT zero since there is rotation at the hinge. if theta was zero at x=0 that means there is a moment at the hinge which physically not true :)

Nice video! I really liked how you discussed what the elastic curve is, this confused me a lot when I took Mechanics of Materials. For beam deflection problems solved integration it is especially important for students to understand how to solve for the constants of integration.

from what I understood from your comment, I can say that all you need to do after dealing with the integrals move the EI to the righ of the equal sign (divided)
That is y = (1/EI)*Integrals
look at the video at time around 16:50
hope that clears things out
