I’ll admit I was so close to buying audio quest cables but man I remember back in 08/09 when spent $$$ on all monster cables.... Zeskit working fine thus far!!

I’ve been researching HDMI cables for hours now. You have solved all problems. You made my purchase simple and I appreciate how clear you are.

Technology keeps requiring more speed and larger data transfer. Thank you for taking a scientific approach to testing. 50 seems like a good sample size. You really a providing a great service to your subscribers. Pixelgen makes some really long fiber optic HDMI cables that will pass 4K and even 8K at really long lengths from 30 to 150 feet. They are very pricey.

I'M IN, getting mine in carbon fiber diamond studded goodness! When cables cost more than the consoles, what ever happened to Radioshack $5 cables??

Instead of mounting/ passing through walls, a good alternative would be calble rails. SImply match the colour of the cable rail to your wall colour, stick it to the wall and fit the calbe inside the rail. THat's it.

Prices of these cables have always been ridiculous but even more now. I purchased the cinnamon from Best Buy years back for $100 and it was 8 feet. Now the cinnamon is $180 for 7.5ft lol wow

I tried out the Zeskit cable for some 8k 60fps gaming with my TV. Unfortunately, going the cheap route didn't work for me this time; I am getting plenty of artifacts and "noise". I'll try out an AudioQuest cable next. Thanks for the video!

Just got a 3 pack of 8K 48Gbps of Cable Matters 10ft HDMI for like $30. And they'll do anything and everything you can throw at them.

Great video. I might replace my SecurOmax cables with Zeskit cables

So is it worth upgrading the cable that came with the Xbox Series X? I have the LG CX with the Series X and I get “invalid format” all of the time! Would a better “certified” cable help these issues and performance? Also is it worth using a 2.1 cable from the receiver to the tv? I use the Dolby atmos in the Xbox settings and like the sound but I saw something last night saying a 2.1 cable can help sound - my Denon receiver is about 5yrs old.

I'll need a 10ft cdmi cable from my LG to PS5 I am currently using Audio Quest 10Ft Forest on the PS5 to the TV. and The Belkin 2.1 from Apple TV to TV. I looked at Carbon Audio quest and considered that for PS5 Do you have knowledge on it if that would be a better option for either one? Mostly going for graphics quality. I do have a sound bar also might do Carbon on that as well. But I know if it works or it doesn’t basically don’t want to fall victim of costly cables just for the hype

Did you separate the failed cables and the passed cables into two groups? I’d retest each failed cable and see if you got the same results on the second test. I’m a retired quality engineer, I’d also ask Denon and Marantz to provide Gage Repeatability and Reproducability data on their units. Without knowing the reliability of their testing, you don’t know if the failure is the cable or the actual testing feature on the AV unit.
