Can Mirrorless Cameras Bowl Over the SLR Brigade?

I tend to shoot in aperture priority at the widest available aperture, which still allows plenty of depth of field. I shoot the most with the 18.5mm prime, but now also am using the 10mm, too, which I purchased with my second V1, which is the white one in this video. The one filming is my black V1 which I've had since the V1 was released.

No opinion on the Coolpix A yet. The V1 is a joy to use. My first question when folks dismiss the camera is "Have you used one?" From the instant focus, to 60fps at full resolution (and raw!), it's a capable camera. Does not have all of the buttons of a DSLR - it likes "set and forget" which really gets the camera out of the way. The EVF literally helps you to see in the dark where an optical viewfinder would be all black.

13 miles into the Grand Canyon, I'm hand held and want the lightest gear possible. I get that you're doing big stuff with big equipment, and that is fantastic - you're doing great things. The majority of questions that I receive focus on using DSLR in the function as a hobby camcorder, which, in my opinion, they do not perform as desired. I'm liking the new Blackmagicdesign Pocket Cinema camera, but they are scarce at the moment.

Thanks for the correction. Nikon 1 v1 or v2 can shoot 30 or 60 fps at 4k (3, 872 x 2, 592 which is 4 times larger than 1080p) in raw (14bit off the sensor, 12bit in the file.)

I have been considering a V1, I recently got a Oympus EPL5, has great reviews and the sensor of the OEM5 but returned it, I could not pass some issues with the body.
Where can you get the new V1 at good prices? Thanks for the video
