If I can give anyone any advice at all, if you have pink eye and you have an aversion to light and pain behind the eye or moving the eye, please go to your Dr. I have had 3 cases of corneal ulcers. My vision is poor, double vision when looking into the distance about 2 metres in front of me and poor vision in general. These have been caused by shingles, and I think an underlying auto immune/dry eye disorder. The symptoms come on very quickly and unfortunately I let the first couple of episodes a bit too long and each corneal ulcer has lead to two days in hospital, Hourly eye drops for 48 hrs and many follow up appointments at the hospital. Your vision is so precious, don’t delay in getting treatment if you are concerned. ❤

I was diagnosed yesterday by my work clinic. They sent me home with antibacterial eye drops. I had a reddish eye in the past but not to this degree were seepage was oozing out while sleeping/napping.

Thank you so much doc! I have really bad bacterial pink eye, it’s red and swollen, itchy and hoppy and crusty.
I got prescribed antibiotic ointment (drops) and and It’s only been a few days I’m scared it will get worse. I may have touched the tip in the eye.

I've had pink eye before a few times many years back.
This case seems to be very mild though..the eye is just barely pink and not much discharge as of yet.
Praying the Ofloxacin clears it up at least by day four. I'm suppose to take it for seven days.

This is a very good description I get allergic pink eye during the fall or spring seasons and it is so bad it chaps my eyes even with all the eye drops available. Not sure about the special ointments the doctor gave me they help a little more but it feels like I almost need to do just more waiting it out. The eye flushes feel amazing though.

I was outside, squirted myself with the hose to cool off and got something in the eye. Now left eye is all DEEP red and I am using Sandoz Tobramycin (first day). When I wake up my eye is closed shut by nasty goop so it's likely bacterial. When I am at work my left eye is covered up and I am more careful. But since I took my first dose all I wanna do is shut my eye like I am tired or something.
