I'll be sewing a few tops to be more fitted, taking in the waist on a skirt, and changing out the buttons on a red cardigan (the IT color this year). ❤ing you videos, I do the same type thrifting and size down and up as needed to fit me. Wondering why you don’t use a basting stitch when resizing by eye? Yes it’s an extra step but super easy to pull out and you don’t have to seam rip it if it’s too tight and it won’t punch as many holes through the fabric it could eventually turn into holes if you know what I mean if the first time you tries to tight.
