For clarification, in the second example, both groups are alive in seki with one eye and one mutual liberty. Do the eyes count as surrounded territory for scoring since the groups are alive, or is the seki completely neutral and ignored just like the groups that were alive with just the common liberty (neither player could claim territory)?

An important exception to this is if you have more outside liberties than they have in total (outside + shared). Then it's not a real seki, since they don't have the time to fill in all of your liberties before they die.

Actually, it is possible to have seki between groups with eyes and eyeless one. But it is way more rare than usual seki) Tho, I have seen one in dan's game recentrly, so it is definitely possible to get in a real game!

3:55 why does that count as an eye for white, when that liberty is shared with black? There is a similar space right above, is that not an eye?
Is it because those two black stones are dead?
