Once Upon a Studio - When You Wish Upon a Star

With the celebration of their 100th anniversary, Walt Disney Animation Studios released the short "Once Upon a Studio" that actually feels like the Magic is back.

This video is just the version of "When You Wish Upon a Star" that we can hear in the ending of this beautiful shortfilm. Enjoy it.

Hearing my two favorite celebrities Paige O'Hara and Jim Cummings sing truly warmed my heart. Paige needs to return as Belle on a regular basis. The producers even said in an interview that they were amazed to hear that she now sounds like she did back in 1991.

It makes perfect sense why they used an archive recording for Jiminy Cricket. As Dickie Jones (Pinocchio's original voice actor) said it best, nobody could ever sing the song just like Cliff Edwards. I doubt any new actor for the cricket would even come close.

hearing Belle, Quasimodo, Pocahontas, Ariel and Mulan sing this nearly made me tear up. Literally my childhood growing up as a 90's baby. I hope they remake House of Mouse because this was so beautiful. 😭
I need more Disney princess interactions, villain interactions, and more characters singing songs not from their movies. 😤

I am so glad they showed Ichabod Crane, the Headless Horseman, Elliot the Dragon, and characters from the Great Mouse Detectives. These are some of my favorite overlooked Disney characters. Such an amazing short and the song was beautiful, especially when Jiminy Cricket joined in. <3

In general hearing all these voices sing the song was amazing, but I especially loved hearing Tom Hulce and Paige O'Hara (Tom especially since he's retired from acting. Plus Hunchback is such a great movie)
