I worked at Dairy Queen briefly as a teenager. They made us turn the blizzard upside down to show the customers that you don’t need a lid, that the blizzard can be taken as is. I was making a blizzard and I made a mess of the cup. So, my brilliant self decided to put another cup over it. Went to the drive thru, said here’s your Oreo blizzard, flipped it and of course, it fell out of the second cup and all over the ground. The customer was like ummmm, why did you do that? I was laughing so hard and all I could say was “it’s not supposed to do that”

I’m always scared of those mixing machines because I remember the one scene in spongebob when they make milkshakes and that one dude gets sucked into the machine and looses his legs.

“Two scoops” yeah thats about right, it always tastes like vanilla ice cream unless you ask for extra

I like that you said “wash your hands.” I went to a DQ and while I was in the bathroom, an employee changed their feminine hygiene product then went back behind the counter without washing her hands either time 🤮

Worked at DQ this summer. There are different spoons for different toppings. Big clear spoons for items like Oreo and Cookie dough (both are fairly popular and not small candy bits like most), white spoons are generally the medium ground, and then black spoons for smaller type of ingredients or peanuts. We were pretty strict on peanut allergy since of course we don't want to accidently murder someone.
Mini - 1 Scoop, Smalls - 2 Scoops, Med - 3 Scoops, Large - 4, XL - 5-6 depending.
Yes, we serve XL, this is basically 2 Mediums because trying to blend that at some places is risky af.
Extra toppings is usually 2 scoops, 1 for minis because how small their cup sizes are.

Key words at the end, "make sure you didn't make a mess". I can say that atleast 75% of employees don't realize that should be a step in doing their job, before giving a blizzard to customers.

Ion understand why people who work at places that sell food wear watches, rings, scrunchies/Hairties and other stuff like that on their wrists/fingers. That can’t be sanitary

I'm gonna be tempted to eat ice cream for like the entire time that imma be there
Thats why i don't think i will be able to work at an ice cream place for a long time XD
