I remember when I ordered iPhone SE 2020 refurbished from a website with pristine condition only to find out its battery health 84%. Sold it a few days later. I will never buy refurbished phones ever again.

I’d say they think you’re scamming them is because say they buy a phone from you in excellent condition. You guarantee those “excellent condition” phones to be in 80% or above battery health which isn’t great. Excellent condition would be at least 90% battery health and up. Any less is not excellent condition. And the fact that the buyer basically gambles their money into hoping they get their “excellent conditioned” phone with a battery health if 90%+ is not good.

Tbh the "scam" comes in to making people thinking they're getting a good deal, when really all the 12's are being mass refurbished and resold. Also most of them are in need of battery service by Apple

It’s because your phones are being bought up from 3rd party markets and being sold for way higher than what they’re worth, AND making youtube money on top of it, WHILE saying it’s a great deal ($400 for an iPhone 12 is NOT worth it. Doesn’t matter if it’s a pro max with max storage capacity.)
