The satin or taffeta flowers would make pretty pins. They are lovely!

The flowers are beautiful & so many different ones to choose from.
The off white fabric doesn’t look like burlap. I use to make burlap flowers. Your fabric looks like drop cloth.
Thank you for the tutorial.

These flowers all look very beautiful Annie, I love them all. I’ll have a go at a few of them. I already do the ones that you twist the material around and around but it’s great to know how to do many more. Now you’ve made these I do recall some of these from when I was younger but I was never really interested back then like I am now. I could have learned heaps if I’d been interested enough to listen and watch what others were doing. Hav3 a great week and thanks for your video I loved it.

Thank you for reminding me about these flowers! I made over 300 of them for my daughter’s wedding 12 years ago, I was traumatized at the time and never wanted to hold fabric to flame again, , but now I’m recovered and ready to make more for my Easter decorations. Thanks again Annie, you always inspire me.

The satin, taffita technique reminds me of the technique we used back in 70s whereas we used Kleenex to make the decor to pull thru chicken wire for the homecoming floats (without using the fire of course). We had to make hundreds and hundreds for the floats. Beautiful.
