This video segment features Professor Joseph W. Rachlin from Lehman College Department of Biological Sciences, Professor Tim Paget, Postdoctoral Research Associate Ishmay Tabacchi, and four CUNY Bronx community college students: Peter Ansong, Ismael Sagoe, Kameka Deans and Godwin Boaful. They talk about Lehman College STEM Scholars Program, whose purpose is to form a linkage among the three CUNY Colleges in the Bronx (Lehman, Hostos Community College and Bronx Community College). The program allows STEM scholars the opportunity to complete a summer laboratory research training program at Lehman College. The segment runs 6:30 minutes.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Rachlon as an advisor and instructor (a weekly seminart in marine biology) back in the early 1970's. It is a wonderful to see him so involved in the activities of my alma mater.

It's good to see Professor Rachlin, after all these years, still active at Lehman. I must say that with all the skyscrapers you folks are throwing up on that campus, that I would hardy recognize the place after thirty years. Congratulations on your success.
