Really like this unique titanium inexpensive quartz watch. Highly recommend for a fun watch. Feels and looks much better then a swatch to me.

Excellent watches, I bought one for myself & wife, that was 12 years ago, I wear mine daily & have had no issues with it, am surprised someone has commented that his did not last beyond the 1st battery replacement..?

Skagen is a fashion brand out of Texas, they are owned by Fossil. Originally used Danish designs (perhaps still do, I don't know). Having owned several between me and my wife, I have to say they are the prettiest watches, period. They are also the least durable watches ever made. None of our watches survived to the point we had to replace the battery. As much as I love their designs, we have given up on them.

Nice review Rob. I hope you win the drawing at the end of the tour. I agree, this thing felt like nothing on the wrist. I had to check to see if I was even wearing a watch. And a great design. My only complaint was the super wide strap although on my 7-3/4 inch wrist it looked fine.

I considered a few of these but many of the reviews said they rusted out the movements.

Most of the Skagen watches have a Miyota movement. Their higher end watches have Swiss movement, but are much more expensive. This is not really a beater watch. You wear this when you dress up and go out for dinner or go to a dinner party with friends or colleagues. If you want something cheap and durable, then go with a Casio or a Wenger and of course the lower end Seikos and Citizens are great too, but you will pay a little more.
