This knife is on Massdrop today, Kevin. (November 22nd, 2018) for 139.99, and you get a Free Tangram Amarillo Knife, with each purchase. This drops looks to be live, until the 27th of November. Shipping Dec 17, 2018 PT.

Almost every bladesmith kizer, when I see it I think "I hope they make a vanguard version", not because of the price but because the bladesmiths are over built. The corto and T1 are the only two (that I know of) that don't fall into the "thick and heavy equals quality" trap. So, I hope they make a vanguard version of this knife.

Awesome review man thanks! Question for you, is the handle part above the lock too sharp? Trying to figure out if it's a hotspot. Thanks again!

Good review. I got one & I love it. I got four kizers & one tangram. I go for Chinese (real steel, ruike, bestech, ganzo, elan, haven't got any sanrenmu or navy yet) more than anything other than spyderco just to buck the trend, even eafengrow copy cats are of good quality. ZT quality suck, too soft, lock failure, looks like expensive Kershaws. Benchmade is alright, little too soft. Spydercos are good. All the American knife manufacturing companies outsource through China, of course they are going to become better knife manufacturers. American knife manufacturers are lost it other than Spyderco.

I'm not a fan of this Kizer design. It's too geometric and the blade looks broken off. Thanks for the quality review Mr. CLEARY.
