The car market is so scandalous, I should never have to deal with a dealer these days. I should be able to go to Honda direct, order my car how I want it. If there’s a build sheet, than can make it, I should be able to spec that I want the paint have an extra layer of clear coat, the system automatically issue a VIN number to vehicle, Honda automatically sends the bill of sale to your lender, now the vehicle is shipped to my house straight from the factory with less than 10 miles on the clock. Dealer for factory service and used cars or to take delivery.

? They never went down. Going down like maybe one or 2% is not going down. They went up 75%.

You guys are the best I bought two Rav4s from using the website and watching the channel. I got my second Rav4 a week before the tariff announcement. I know my 2023 Rav4 hybrid is going for the same price or more then I paid for it brand new.

I daily drive a '99 Mitsubishi Mirage. This weekend I plan to purchase parts which I expect will need changed at some point (starter, fuel pump, radiator, hoses, etc) In addition to what I already have on the shelf, just in case. Some extra oil filters and whatnot, might as well buy before prices spike. When you have an old car, it's a good idea because, God forbid, you can't find the part you need.

We're in a depression, it's a little late for employee pricing discounts.

I told you car prices aren’t going down. And it’s because the value of the dollar is in the toilet. The only way prices come down is a complete collapse by then nobody will be in the situation to buy a car

We don’t always test our software, but when we do, we let our customers do it. For about 18 years of my career, I was a software testing engineer. On the other hand, we released software often with known defects. Why? Management had dates to make and ignored us. But we always reported our results and recommendations.

I used a window sticker feature on car edge and it helped me a lot with my car purchase

If that invoice is from a Mustang made in the Flat Rock Michigan plant it will about $5000 to $5500 above invoice to get the MSRP.

I was negotiating a deal for 2 used cars (this past week)Thanks to this channel I did a very good job. However, we didn’t agree on final numbers. Today they up both cars by 1k each. Someone will pay for it. My guess is that they still will be there at the end of the month.

It's not that people don't want electric cars, I do, but the MAJOR set back is the fear of not finding charging stations on their trips. THAT is the reason for slow sales.
Also, where are the SOLAR electic cars?? People don't want to go from depending on oil companies...to depending on electric companies! The reason people want electric cars is to steer AWAY from any fuel dependencies. Start selling cars that charge themselves, and watch how fast customers will snatch them up.

My apologies for yesterday's comment. The invoice sheet was up so short and Baron's comment about $1k off a Bronco, I assumed smoke and mirrors. So, if you're not afraid of the upcoming recession, these are pretty good pricing. As for Stellantis, they're still showing rebates as well, so easily 15% off MSRP's just in factory discounts. Still might be room if the dealer REALLY wants to move inventory.

@Space TY for the reply but I'm pretty sure it's the same dealership. The dealership name is the same. The only thing they changed was the pictures from another angle, but you can tell it's the same dealership.

Picked up a '22 Subaru Outback Touring XT CPO for 30K cash Thursday with 29K miles. Only other purchase/cost was the 7/100K extended to match the CPO JUST in case something electrical/computer went wacko and the 499 processing. Already seeing '22's on Autotrader higher in price than on Wednesday/Thursday.

Would you be able to add data for Corolla cross (hybrid) to your research database?

Definitely understand used cars between 1-5 yrs old will go up in price, but will the prices jump up on everything else?( i.e. 10 yrs or older) I know the pandemic had 12 yr old ford's with over 100k miles being sold for 10k, are in for that once again?
