Gary, thanks for the shout-out. The instrument panels look great, even in 1:72. I wasn't convinced about the pre-shading but in the end it is a nice effect on such a large bird.
You wrangled with an iffy kit and came out with a nice model, the dozen assembly clamps notwithstanding. Cheers!

Looks good, like the pre shading, you have lot of patience, I do like your use of a colour that is close enough, otherwise we would have lots of part used paint pots!!😱😱

Why that fiver is about a cup of coffee ☕, good deal even if it was the undercarriage from hell. Was curious during the unboxing if that little bit of flash was a sign to come for filler issues etc. Most of all, am glad ICM clamped down on the fitment and flash issues now (😁 yeah I did). Came out alright after all.👍 Well done Gary, not sure if it wouldn't have had a test flight accident against the wall after tripping myself up on those small issues 🛫

Lovely job Gary, thinking the MIG designers or former soviet designers liked Gerry Anderson 😃, first episode of joe 90 he stole a MIG 242 and flew it back to manston in Kent 😊, Shame Russia is becoming a threat again in the early 80s in west London practising duck and cover if they drop the bomb hope it gets sorted, sorry if I’ve gone off topic, all the best mate 👍🏻😊
