Kazatomprom cuts 2025 uranium guidance by 17%. Uranium stocks explode higher. AIA Weekly 8.24.24

The world's largest uranium supplier, Kazatomprom has reported that 2025 production will be 17% less than originally forecasted.

The company also said it will not give 2026 production guidance until this time next year. The Chief Financial Officer also quit after just eleven months on the job.

This is tremendously bullish news, and it could likely be the catalyst for the next move higher in uranium prices.

I nibbled on the Uranium stock dips before Friday. My cost basis are so low that i am slightly averaging up by doing so. My uranium and precious metals mining stock positions are always in the green, even during pullbacks. I simply increase the size of these positions during pullbacks. My only regret is that i was not even more aggressive in my buying at the rock bottom price levels.

As far as I can determine OXY is no longer an oil company but merely a Zero-Carbon treatise. I can't even see on their website where they produce oil and/or gas!

I be carefully with getting into Uranium now. It's strange coincidence that KazAtomProm announcement coincidence with Powell rate cutting speech. Also volume is very low now.
