Thank you so much for your update on the Lagos Blue line.
I was shocked to see how filthy the pedestrian bridges and staircases of some of the stations. Who is to blame for this filthy pedestrian stairs outside these stations? Why do the people in Nigeria dump their rubbish or litter any where in the public space? This looks like a daily Nigerian cultural issue everywhere.
Why don't the Lagos government provide litter bins in every public streets of Lagos?
They should also introduce hanging litter baskets or bins on each side of those pedestrian bridges and staircases with adequate signage everywhere. Any implementation of these ideas must be properly monitored and litter / bin staff need to be engaged for an all day or shift work with good/active managers and CCTV in place.
Perhaps litter penalty should then be imposed on offenders after these steps are in place. Above all the Lagos government can do more with a "litter/ rubbish😢 eradication campaign"
What do you think?😢😢😢

I wish they had bus services linking to the stations. It makes sense considering it’s impossible to build stations right in the heart of the busier part of the city.

Good job👍
❗Why is the Under of the Marina station not pave or tiled, is sandy and dusty and it can actually affect the station especially the escalators😮

I believe making the stations look similar was intentional, to get people used to knowing their way about a relatively new thing. Especially the elderly, there's less confusion for them.

The interior walls inside each stations should be decorated with traditional african artworks.
In the station hall, the pillars should be decorated with shining brass and art wall paintings all around, making it similar to the solemn style of an African palace.

I don't believe that the stations on the Blue Line are strategic enough!

I would have thought that there would be stations at C.M.S and at Victoria Island where the majority of the Lagos workforce would disembark from!

Perhaps other future lines may address that!

The downside you talked about is a norm in all the western world...lol, trekking is a very important aspect of daily life. So it's fine in my opinion.
