Thanks for another interesting video! When I solve physics problems, I usually just create a system of equations without using the superposition principle (at least explicitly). It's interesting to see problems thought about a different way.

I think there is easier arithmatic, when you get the two equations: F = (K+sB+ssM1)(X1-X2), and ssM2X2 = (K+sB)(X1-X2), you can directly isolate F = (K+sB+ssM1)(X1-X2) and X2 = (K+sB)(X1-X2)/ssM2, then, X2/F = [(K+sB)(X1-X2)/ssM2] / (K+sB+ssM1). At last, sub in the 1's and done.
