would really like a video investigating the used market of EV's. What cars make good used models, what to look for and avoid ect.

For me, the tipping point will be when high quality EVs are abundantly available as used cars.

The stuff being made now is pretty decent, but if we're honest with ourselves, most of the stuff from the early 2010s really sucked, & the older model S's are still fairly expensive.

I can go out today in any town in the US & buy a decent used car for $5000 or less. Hell, the car that I have right now (& have had for well over a year) cost me $1500 & it runs perfectly with very little maintenance.

If we want EVs to completely replace ICE cars, we've gotta get to a reality where you can easily go out & buy a cheap used EV with a good range (let's say 240 miles per charge or more).

charging networks need a better elevator pitch for municipalities, like: "Hey, mayor, would you like to buy some fresh air for your city center? Buy 100 fast chargers, ~2 million EUROs, pay the electricity bills and people will stop burning things in your city center!"

09:40 . "Its like buying a bag of crisps". Good analogy. You can buy most of your crisps or chocolate in bulk far cheaper at a supermarket, but for convenience people still buy these things at corner shops and petrol stations.

I really like how you solved the "problem" with naming the patreons at the end. Well done👍🏻

Great video. I wish Fully charged could also throw light on the increasing number of Universities offering Electric Vehicle Courses.

Can't afford an electric car, so settled on an electric bike instead.

being a full-blooded United States'er...(besides the GREAT info and relief that SOMEONE in the world is "taking charge" on our(as a race) EV future....) I sure get a kick out of the jargon and sense of humor in these vids....THANK YOU!

That charging station (BP station) was in Hounslow, near Heathrow Airport.

My 7 year old son is now badgering me for a model Twizy, like the one on the shelf behind you. Speaking of Twizies, we play "Spot the Twizy" and other electric cars when we are driving out and about.

It's true they are cheaper overall, if you can afford to buy a new car. Most of us in the real world can only afford to pay a few thousand, if that, for a second hand car. When you can buy an electric car second hand for a few thousand, that still has a decent range, then that is when parity will be reached!

Daily commute here that cost $18 in gasoline/petrol. now costs less than $5 for charge at home electricity in Kona EV.

Robert, I hope you get recognition for informing people and helping change the world, one driver (home owner) at a time.

*The electric future is happening :-)*

Gas stations will turn into coffee shops that do not smell like gasoline.
It will be like a convenience store with charging spaces.
Or the supermarkets will have charging stations to attract more customers.
