Sock curls tutorial!!

guys i tried it and it worked so well! keep in mind i have thinner hair and curls never usually last for more than an hour BUT these curls lasted throughout the entire school day! they loosed up overtime but they still stayed in! a trick to use when you do this method is to wrap a hair tie around the socks before you go to sleep so that the socks don’t loosen. :))) 💗

I tried it out for 2 hours and it worked in that small amount of time. It was very voluminous and beautiful! I highly recommend. I just put them back in and I am leaving them in overnight. Go try it!!

it worked SO well! i have thick straight layered hair, and my parents don’t let me curl it with heat, so its basically SOO hard to find hairstyles that work for me, because the small pieces fall out! But your way works so well bc you’re not wrapping it at all! I watched so many other videos and none of them made sense! TYSM ❤️❤️

This is the fricking best way to do your hair!! I have thick, long, frizzy hair and this helps with frizz!! I do have to use knee high socks just because of my long hair. If you have shorter hair normal sock should work. This is good to sleep in, slightly uncomfortable but the results are AMAZING !!!🤩
It takes 3-5mins each side, to take them out 1-2mins. I would recommend. Love these curls sooo much!! x

Wow thank you so much, I tried this and it worked so well! I have thin hair that doesn’t really hold curls. My hair was semi dry after a shower and had some oil in the ends when I did this. I left in for about 5 hours and oh my gosh the results are amazing. The sock was so satisfying to pull out in one go and my hair is now so bouncy and curly. They look perfect. I was worried if I brushed them out they would become frizzy, but nope, it brushed out so nice and separated things into smaller curls. I’m so amazed, usually my hair is so frizzy and there was barely any hair fall out like I usually do, I think the sock really helped prevent breakage. I would 1000% do this again and recommend this to others. I will update later to see how they last, so far after taking them out ~3 hours ago they are still nice 🫶

Update: after close to 8 hours and minimal brushing (about 2x), unfortunately most of the curls have dropped. 4 hours in the tops got flat and now after 8 hours I can some light waves towards the end but that’s it. I believe this is just due to my hair type but this method did feel nice and did not cause my hair to tangle. I hope it lasts longer for other people and maybe one day I’ll get a moose to see if it’ll last longer, for now I’m okay with it lasting a 1/3 of the day with minimal product
