Peak oil was disputed 30 years ago...by all figures back in the 70s we should have run out by now 😂...artificial shortages are just as profitable as real ones 🤷🏼‍♂️

There are 10 times the known oil reserves today as there was 50 years ago.
As an aside, in 1966 I was working a gas station pumping regular for .19cents a gallon. Diesel was selling for 3 to 5 cents a gallon. Friday I paid 3.59 for diesel.

Oil is created in a geological process.
Scientists learned to make it in a lab . It’s basic chemistry.

Look up Abiotic Oil which shows that, oil is likely a renewable resource. Such as why wells that refill themselves again after a few decades.

You're not allowed to run out of oil until I've had enough hotrodding.

They've been pumping oil in the panhandle for decades.

I when thinking about petroleum, begin to believe that the pits are actually Old decomposed plastics from civiliazations of millions of years ago.

Absolutely 100 percent true. They are now finding out that depleted oil reserves or wells that have been emptied out are actually refilling themselves.

There are streams in Alaska with a oil sheen in the waters. Oil literally bubbles out of the ground up there without pumping.

Even if we were to some day run out of liquid petroleum we still have alternative sources that can be used in internal combustion engines, they can also make synthetic oils (lubricants) from those same sources.

My opinion is that you got part of this wrong. I think that primarily oil is ABIOTIC. [look it up]. Abiotic oil does not come from old plants but rather is generated and regenerated in the earth's crust...

Good video. The earth is currently making more oil everyday.

When I was 18, making $7 an hour, gas was around $1 a gallon. Now, I'm mid 40s making on average 3 times the wages and gas is roughly 3 times the cost. My thoughts are that averages seem the same, just the numbers are bigger. Just a thought.

It remember back in 1968, I could refuel my motorcycles three gallon fuel tank, and get change back on a dollar bill. I would ride during my lunch hour, and fill my tank daily.

When I was at school, all they went on about was peak oil, and what will happen when the oil runs out, this was obviously before climate change was invented, as that's all they talk about now!

Oil is really produced deep within the earth with rhe reaction of calcium carbonate + water+ heat + pressute. That is why formerly dry wells on shore arr filling up.

If a well runs out of oil, cap it. Open er up 30 years later and all the outlying suspended oil has seeped back into the main well. Back in bizness! JR freaked out for nothing.

I remember when I was a kid growing up, gas was like 65 cents a gallon. I also remember when gas broke the dollar a gallon barrier, man you would have thought it was going to be the end of the world, I mean people literally freaked out. Lol
