Translating to "The Book of Life", the complete work is said to be 2000 pages by editions. to this day, only the Preface section survives
Obukhov was so obsessed with this work, that his wife cut the score. Obukhov caught her in time and fixed the score with his own blood.

In 1949 in Paris, Obukhov was attacked and badly beaten, and the original copy of the complete score was stolen. He hardly composed any more music until his death 5 years later.
This is all that remains of it.
