As an incineroar main, down b is immensely important but its still second to the actual best move. Side b. Alolan whip does too much for incineroar not to be his best move by a mile

I love incineroar, and have mained him Day 1
He has some of the craziest combos as substitute for his abysmal speed
Whether it's double u-air into up-B off stage
Landing nair down throw up air anything
He is seriously slept on and could easily be A tier if ppl mapped him hard enough (albeit he loses to gimp)

Another amazing trait down b does is u dont lose revenge hitting shields. Makes his moves super safe and do alot of shield damage.
